Phil Cushman is an Executive Partner at Hidden Harbor. In this role, Mr. Cushman works hand in hand with the investment team and is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and operating niche market leading businesses in the manufacturing, industrial and automotive sectors. Phil has over thirty years of experience in corporate management, operations, lean manufacturing, product innovation, project management, turn-arounds, strategic planning, mergers/acquisitions, sales and leadership development across a variety of automotive manufacturing, and distribution industries.

Phil served as President at Neapco (formerly New England Auto Products Company a privately held automotive supplier for both automotive Tier 1 and aftermarket), and held several C-level positions at the CURT Group (a private equity backed company in the automotive aftermarket). In addition, Phil has served in several senior level positions at large OEM automotive suppliers – Benteler, Valeo, Visteon and ITT Automotive. Phil is consistently recognized as a visionary leader that successfully inspires teams to profitable growth, innovations and margin improvements.

Phil earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a MS in Administration from Central Michigan University. Phil also completed leadership training at INSEAD in Foutainebleau, France and at IESE Business School at the University of Navarra in Barcelona, Spain.
