Export, Pennsylvania, March 1, 2021 – SSE International, Inc. (“SSE”), a Hidden Harbor Capital Partners portfolio company and the parent company of KT-Grant, LLC (“KTG”), the leading provider of refractory tear-out and maintenance services, today announced the purchase of LVR, Inc. (“LVR”), expanding the platform’s geographic footprint and further diversifying into underpenetrated end markets and adjacent service capabilities.
Based in Northampton, Pennsylvania and with additional facilities in Syracuse, New York and Oxford, Massachusetts, LVR is a leading provider of refractory installation services and materials sales. LVR provides SSE with a stronger presence in the Northeast and allows the business to better serve customers in the cement and lime, power generation, aluminum, and heat treating end markets.

SSE was formed as a standalone company after the acquisition of KTG by Hidden Harbor Capital Partners in October 2019. SSE’s acquisition of LVR closed on March 1st, 2021.
